Are those Cree modules retrofitted to a Flood light socket? Awsome!

I have a few Cree based handheld flashlights and nothing can compare to them. Except any NEW Cree technology. They really are the future of lighting pretty much anywhere light is currently being used.

Studied alot about Cree tech on Candlepowerforums. LOTS of DIY using Cree modules floating around over there.

    Looks great BTW.

    Thank you, k+
I got together with some friends and bought quite a few, so we got bulk pricing. I think the minimum is 5 pcs. I am really glad I did this though. These bulbs are great. Rapidled uses cree bulbs so you know you are going to get great quality.

    Thanks. k+
These Cree bulbs really are great. Super bright.
There was no retrofitting involved though. These bulbs just screw into any regular lighting socket. It was really easy to set up. I used clamp on light sockets from Amazon.

I think it was about $60 for one when you buy 5+.
    Definitely worth it IMO.

is it just the camera? or does that look more purple then blue in real life? I really want a purple / violet lighting tank rather then blue

It does have a tinge of purple to it IMO. I prefer the purple look as well. I do have a 420nm actinic bulb in my t5 fixture that definitely adds to the purple look.
