    Ouch... that arowana dont have much room to swim... FAIL... but the light look good

    I order one 48' for my tank. I am thinking mixing with Metal Halid. What you guy think?

    How many Mh over the tank? And what wattage?

    I personally would rather go T5/LED if it was me, just for the color combo choices, heat output, and electricity per month cost... but I suppose it depends on your lighting needs.. and I wouldn't think there would be any issue mixing lighting types. However, I am by no means an expert in that department.

    I wouldn't necessarily say better. Just different. Like they say, different strokes for different folks. Different topic thought, start a thread if ya like, and I'm sure tons of people will voice their opinions.

    so just 1 unit will cover all whole area? even though its 18 inch wide?

    Yes, one unit will provide a great spread of light, but as you know, it depends on your lighting needs, and your budget. Since your aquarium is 18 inches wide, technically you could run 5 or 6 individual units on your aquarium...
