Ouch... that arowana dont have much room to swim... FAIL... but the light look good
I order one 48' for my tank. I am thinking mixing with Metal Halid. What you guy think?
How many Mh over the tank? And what wattage?
Dont have it yet, but thinking of mixing.
I personally would rather go T5/LED if it was me, just for the color combo choices, heat output, and electricity per month cost... but I suppose it depends on your lighting needs.. and I wouldn't think there would be any issue mixing lighting types. However, I am by no means an expert in that department.
So a t5 is better?
I wouldn't necessarily say better. Just different. Like they say, different strokes for different folks. Different topic thought, start a thread if ya like, and I'm sure tons of people will voice their opinions.
so just 1 unit will cover all whole area? even though its 18 inch wide?
I agree with you, regarding the space constraints for the Arowana...
Yes, one unit will provide a great spread of light, but as you know, it depends on your lighting needs, and your budget. Since your aquarium is 18 inches wide, technically you could run 5 or 6 individual units on your aquarium...
