Update on the OCReef CREE Linear LED Aquarium Light:

Okay, our warehouse forwarded us over another image of the New OCReef CREE Linear, which shows the unit hanging in the upright position, which gives a close up of the 80 degree optic diffuser lens.

Also, we have completely sold out of the 39.4" L x 2.6" W x 1.9" H size. We will not be making any more in this size. Our new batch is 47" L x 2.5" W x 1.9" H, and fits aquariums that are 48 inches perfectly. It can still be hung, or rest on top of the aquarium with the extendable slide-out leg brackets.

We also lowered the introductory price for our summer sale, it is now priced at $209.99

A few other aspects that may not have gotten mention previously, include: the light is made of an all aluminum housing, which has received a baked on powder coating paint, which is corrosion and salt-creep resistant.

The LEDs are solder welded onto an aluminum board AL-PCB instead of a normal PCB, which passively solves the heat dissipation factor, rendering a fan free and completely quiet working unit.

    Thanks again everyone.

Very interesting. And with that price I might have to go with 2 for my 90 reef ready. Would 2 of these be sufficient to keep SPS up top and clams on the bottom?

Do you make a size that will work for a 29g reef?

...maybe we could get a full tank shot of the tank the light is hanging over?

Yes, if you also have the 90 gallon, with sps on top and clams on the bottom, it would be best to run two...

The light is raised up high above the aquarium in this shot. In this shot, before our camera crapped out, we were trying to get a clear shot of the optics.
