    I had the same issue and it took A LOT of razor blade scraping. I tried the vinegar bath, not the clr, and the only thing i managed to get results with was scraping.

    Yea, not much luck atm.. After a day and a half of soaking in straight vinegar and a hour of scraping, and a day of soaking in straight clr, and a hour of scraping I get what you see in the pic.. If its wet, you can't see it as much, so idk....

    could some of it possibly be on the outside of the tank? Maybe try to clean the outside too

    there are a few fingerprints on the outside, but all the white is on the inside

    yea, a couple days before my first post here, but I'm pretty sure I said that in my first post. And I'll watched that video a few times :)

    I bought a used tank for my son's room a while back. I tried everything and could not get it clean. It looked a lot worse than yours (the after pic) and I finally caved and just filled it. I can't even tell now where the stains were, however he is 2 so I wasn't too worried as it will be covered in finger prints and "kisses" in no time. Maybe try filling it and turning the lights on (tank lights) and see how it looks.
