    Just cut off the bottom of a 2-liter bottle or something like that... Poke some holes in the bottom... Pour him and the water in, holding it over a bucket then pour him into the tank... That should work.

    Yeah that was my next suggestion. Probably shouldn't use one of those metal mesh ones though.

    Have a plastic one. Will give it a shot. Eventually I'll just go pick up one of the larger 2 gallon or so pitchers and put some holes in the bottom. Should work just fine. Thanks for the help.

    having had a couple of small lions this is the way to do it... they can get their spikes stuck in the hole of a colider, especially the metal ones.

    Yeah. I am a bit apprehensive in using the colander...ours is plastic but does not have tiny holes, it has slits....death trap. Ill probably just use the pouring method for this guy.
