    ever notice that coraline grows faster on the backs of tanks than the fronts?i wonder if it likes to grow on the darker back rather than the clear front,or if its just cause we clean that front so often.

    I can't get it to grow on either surface. I have two rocks with patches on it and that's it..........:-/:angry::cry:

    Yes :) Coralline prefers the lower lit areas of the tank which is why you always see it first starting to grow towards the bottom/back of the tank.
