So, in a late night impulse, KC and I started shopping for a Red Planet, then we saw a Forest Fire monti and next thing you know, I was hitting the "Pay Now" button.
Fortunately, my wife wants to get them for me as part of my birthday present!!! Which means, i may be buying more corals soon! LOL

I only have the pics from the site and they're from the mother colonies. Frags are 3/4" to 1" big in reality.

I was really feeling withdrawal symptoms last night!! Glad I found these :)

Thanks!!! Any tips on placement for these? I've been told the RP will grow faster at the top, but will display nicer red color in the middle :D

Thanks in advance for any tips with these two!

flow very important - for the RP more so than the Monti
you dont want anything to be able to settle on them

what lighting do you have, sorry I forgot

Thank you! I'm supposed to get them tomorrow. I'll put a pic up of the actual frags when I get them :)

I have too much flow in there! I was actually thinking of un-doing the MJ-1200 shure flow mod and installing the rotating head again. I have a koralia 4 and the MJ-1200 with the smaller propeller from the Sure Flo mod.

As far as light goes, I have a 4x54 watt T5 with the bulbs in this order, from front to back:

    1 x 54W 11000K Aquablue Plus T5 HO Fluorescent by Giesemann
2 x 54W Blue Plus T5 HO Fluorescent by ATI
    1 x 54W 75/25 14000K AquaBlue T5 HO Fluorescent by UV Lighting

    sounds good to me

IME the acro will want to be upper 3rd of the tank where it can get max light and probably benefit the most from flow
the Monti could be lower IMO

I like to start them on the sand bed for a couple of days and then bring them up in 3 stages to light acclimitise them

How long do you leave them in each level?
