Resolved New coral ???

    I bought this from my LFS and it was 20 bucks and it was in the sand bed everything looked good till they bagged it up and half of it was dead????? Is there any hope for it or did i get screwed????? This is my first coral. and yes i have no idea what it is please let me know so i can research it.

    That is a Trachyphyllia radiata. Do iodine dips every couple of days to help it heal. If you see its tentacles out spot feed it.

    Thanks for the ID but do you think it will do ok under T5 lighting and about 12in from the light????

    Yeah...Brains dont need a whole lot of light.
