Just read this thread. I have to say, in the early pics of just the empty tank i thought to myself, ugh, way too shallow of a tank for my tastes. But then I got to the end and saw the finished product and I LOVE it! I really like the lighting too, you are the first person I've seen use all Neutral Whites, I wish I could see it in person.

One more question, did the acrylic sides on the light stop much light spill?

Thanks there really isn't that much light spill with the 40 degree optics. They are mainly on there to just hide the business parts that aren't very nice to look at. About the neutral whites...I kinda wish I wouldst went with cool white or more blue. If I turn the blue all the way up and white all the up its not blue enough for me and kind of actually looks yellowish. On the other hand though I shouldn't really have to turn it all the way up anyway.

Would the kole tang be alright in my size tank or would my tank be to small for it? I don't want it to be all stressed out and have tang police after me.

So kole / bristletooth would be ok in my tank? If so I'm going to have a friend try and track one down for me.

What type of crab? Try a piece of raw deli shrimp. Take the shell off and put a piece about thumb nail size in a shot glass leaning at an angle over the rock he hangs out and leave it overnight with all lights off, including moon lights. You'll find home there in the morning.
That is how I caught my hitchhiker crab, who now resides in the huge.
