    Just got a new orange montipora capricornus, 25$. After a 10 minute acclimation, I put it in the tank. 30 minutes later polyps were out, so I decided to glue it down. Well one broken super glue cap later, my hand is covered in super glue, I had to shave part of my leg in order to get the glue off, my carpet feels like a cactus,and on top of it all, I got glue on the coral (see pic). The big question is will it be ok? No time for pretty pics, sorry.

    Gotta love superglue ::):angry:.

    Oh and by the way, there goes 20$ of superglue.

    Should be ok som3 reef3r

    have you tried super glue gel? its a lot thicker than the normal liquid stuff
    so it helps to avoid all the running all over the place you get with the standard liquid

    for next time, 2 part epoxy or reef putty is a much cleaner method of attaching frags, frag plus with frags on, to the rock work IME

    Ok, I believe it was a gel of some sort, but for some reason it just kept coming out, little to my knowing.

    Also my LFS reccomended the glue, which was less expensive anyways.

    Do you think i can get the glue off eventually?

    Thanks

    Nice add, the frag will be OK the covered area will most likely die but it will over grow that area.

    +1 to using gel superglue.
