    Hey guys
My tank is a bare bottom and the sump only contains a skimmer and BP reactor, should I run a remote DSB or something to feed the BP?

You shouldn't have to do that. How long has the BP reactor been setup? Are you experiencing nitrates or phosphates?

I have always believed that a DSB was there for enhanced population of anaerobic bacteria to convert nitrate to free nitrogen. Bio pellets are used to convert nitrate and phosphate to skimmable proteins. If my thinking is correct, a DSB only competes with the BP for nitrate, not feeds it.
