    Agreed. It will take time for your biological system to catch up with you current load. I suggest giving it weeks and test before you add more. On at a time is best for the fish.

    Thanks ok so i have 4 fish in my tank now and still one live rock I tested the water lastnight and everything is still gud with my ph nitrite and nitrate but I am seeing some brown stuff covering up my live sand wat is that?

    That is likely diatoms. They will go away on their own after all of the silicates from your rock and sand are used up.

    Diatoms consume the silicates then eventually starve.It happens in most young systems.A picture of the stuff would help id it.

    Yes. Those look like diatomes. Most every tank has them for a while in the beginning.

    lol im getting rocks should be this weekend i only put one in to start everything off and added some blue damsels they are doing fine they swim around the whole tank and they seem to dig small holes in the sand idk why but at night they sleep or rest by the rock

    I would add them sooner rather then later.Damsels need shelter to avoid stress.
