Thanks. Yeah I just got him from a fisherman who picked him and a sea cucumber up by accident. I have them in a QT tank.

Thanks very much for the ID.
What should I try to feed him?

In all honesty I would probably put him back if he hasn't come into contact with other animals yet.If you keep him you will need a tank with very little rockwork and corals are a bad idea.A fowlr with him as the sole occupant(or paired with other toadfish or scorps.) is the only real way to keep one healthy as they more walk then swim.It may or may not accept prepared foods but they eat live mollusks as well as small shrimp and other crustaceans. They are also rare and you may want to call a public aquarium or zoo.Not sure what you have there. You can try just feeding it a piece of shrimp and see what happens.

He's in a fowlr right now with the sea cucumber, not much rock just a few pieces with feather dusters.
I run a small fish store so I have many tanks so keeping him alone won't be a problem and the strange fish creates interest in the hobby and drives in the customers so that's a perk.
But, I will try to get him to eat tomorrow and if he doesn't have an interest in eating in captivity, I'll put him back.
