Remove it.Raising the ammonia too high will stall the cycle.

Oh goodness. It's coming on out then too. Do I need to keep the ammonia level up or just let the bacterias do their thing?

...It's out. And yeah, you guys were right haha. That was quite nasty.

    Keep ammonia between 2-3 ppm.

I remember you saying that earlier, but I thought you meant once, like get it to the peak and then stop. But I can do that.

Also, my Koralia Nano 1600 came in today, should I turn it on or wait until cycles finished? And what do you guys think about adding API Quick Start to help boost the bacteria?

The parameters today are the same as yesterday.

I probably would add some flow and turn it on. I don't think the quick start would cause a problem. I'm usually in favor of adding bacteria for diversity.

Powerhead is turned on, and I re-did my scape. I'll post a pic just as soon as the water clears up.

Deuce (the cockatiel) was very interested in the scape remodel. He stood right on the edge of the bed the whole time and watched while I worked on it.

I would stop disturbing the rock work until your cycle is comp[leted.

Today's parameters: (I can't wait until my API test kit comes, I know it's not the most accurate but it's definitely better than what I'm using now)

    Trite: 1.0 ppm
    pH: 8.4
    Alk: 10.08 dkh
