Nearby Mushroom cause SPS to bleach?

    I hate to say it but that coral looks like it's missing its flesh which would indicate an RTN event, not a bleaching event.

    I hope not! more polyps are out today.. maybe 75% now.. if it was RTN wouldnt polyps not be extending?

    also I just got a 2x2" favia frag, is that ok by SPS corals? as long there not close to touching? 2-3" seperation.

    Do you see polyps coming out of the white areas? If you are, then you are correct, it has only bleached. I hope that's the case!

    yea the brown polyps are coming out of the white areas.. so hopefully it will make a full recovery.. ::)

    hrmm i have two shrooms growing way up on some LR i got. looks like ill be getting em moved so i dont have issues down the road when i add SPS
