    Hello:

Would greatly appreciate any feedback. Purchased a Naso Tang about two weeks ago. He seemed fine and is still eating very well.

When I was feeding him on Tuesday he had a bump on his head by his eye and now it's an open sore. Think it might be Lymphocystis.

Please let me know what you think. Thank you

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Only speculation, but it really does not looks like lymphocystis to me, but extremely if not impossible to tell from the image. Seems like it came on pretty fast, and since lymphocystis is a virus it's possible. If it is, since it's self limiting and no know treatment it just needs to run it's course.

If it were my fish I would consider treatment with Melafix or an antibiotic just in case it's bacterial. Of course bump up the diet as much as possible with marine algae, and supplements like selcon or equiv.

    Good luck.
