3reef has a new state of the art profile management system! 8)

Some of the new profile features!

The title is just a joke! We are not seriously calling it My3Space! :)
    BUT...

Much like MySpace, you can completely customize your profile page, make your own look and feel, move content blocks around, add more or remove them, have videos, friends, your own blog, even your own forum!

So much is possible it's kinda crazy. I stayed up until 2am working on mine:

Here is a little tour that will get you started (click photos to enlarge):

Above are your main navigation links. Note the Actions and Setting pulldown links. You will find all your customization options from there. The main links above that can be renamed, moved or removed.

The above snapshot shows most of the important options. Note the 'editor' link, when in the advanced editor mode, your profile will have a dashed line around it and you can drag and drop your content blocks anywhere. How cool is that? And you can click on the wrench icon on any block to configure it. When you are done, select normal view to see your page as others will.

Add New Blocks - This link in the above screenshot is very important too. There you will find new content that you can add to your page such as 'My Media' which allows you to display YouTube videos!

Add New Pages - This link will allow you to add completely new pages to your profile. Explore the options there. Again, you can move the links to these pages to different spots in the navbar while in the editor mode.

Style Settings - This one is wild. You basically can change the whole look and feel of the page here including the background and all the colors. Mess around it is pretty fun. If you are proud of your style. Check the box to add it to the database to share it with all 3reefers like I did!

Notes: The photo album - this option allows you to put a link to your photo album, please note, it will not forward you there unless you log out or are looking at someone else's profile. This will be more intuitive in the future.

The above shows dragging and dropping of blocks while in editor mode. SO COOL! Note the interests tags as well. By adding your tags there you can find others with similar interests by clicking on them.

That's it for the tour, enjoy and please show off your profiles here!

    Thanks sssnake! :)

By the way, I added a link to go directly to your new profile system in the top navigation bar of the forum.

    @covey et al,

I am testing out the homepage option.

To get a 'my homepage' link on your profile, go to the action menu, click 'add new page,' then on the menu that appears to the right of that, select 'my homepage.'

Make sure you are in the advanced editor mode, then it appears the way to go here is to go to the action menu, click 'add new block, 'Create Custom Content Block' and just start going crazy. Of course you can use stock blocks too.
