My umbrella is unhappy!

I have had my umbrella for six days. After three, he opened in full glory, then on the fourth, he closed and has not opened again. This morning he appeared to have a white "dust" on part of his canopy. Other quarrels in the aquarium are doing fine. Any thoughts?

 

is an umbrella coral the same as a toadstool leather ? it looked like it to me. my guess would be its gonna slough off some skin to grow. thats an uneducated guess. lol. but i wouldnt worry about it right now. a pic would help a lot.

also i hope your tank geets happier and stops"quarrelling"

 

If it doesn't perk up in the next day I will circulate a picture of the poor thing.

 

they can sometimes take up to a week or so to open fully back up portia.

 

I am being more patient. It was up this AM--likes early mornig sunlight apparently, and is now back sleeping. The Zenia does the same thing, so I will not despair. When it was open, it looked fine. Thanks for your encouragement
