    Update-

Still hanging in there. It held on to another NL spectrum pellet yesterday.
It's very small and deflated though.

I did find that my SG had been creeping up on me lately, probably from dosing so much.

It had climbed to 1.029-1.030. (I now have a refractometer also!)

I brought it back down, to 1.027 now. - where I want it actually.
This might have some kind of effect as well?

So, moved the shrooms close to it, lowered the TOO high SG

I did see the Oc. Clown pushing his head hard into yesterday- very rare, I don't that's the root of the probelm.
I think I have some type of imbalance- 'cause a very few other corals also look paler- mainly just my large devils hand, and my monti flower.

Other montis and my RBTA look great still. ?

Yes it will. Give everything a few weeks to recover. Smart move on the refractometer, Todd. ;) Always improving.

    Thanks Jerry,

the dosing stuff every day is actually causing my SG to climb very slightlyh over time.

I exchanged a few gallons of tank water for RO, and slighlty raised by sump ATO float allowing a few more gallons of RO/DI in the system.
I'm going to keep a closer eye on it.
I was already running it at 1.027- so not much room to climb more!

For this reason, I would attempt to maintain 1.026. This is where I keep my reefs at. Your fish will appreciate it as well, with the higher DO content ;)

    Interval Update:

Still hanging in there! He ate another 3mm NLS pellet again today!

Still contracted and small though, and paler green than usual.

I reread your thread because I thought Corailline's hypothesis about the soft corals being near it may be affecting it then realized I read this wrong DOH......I thought you meant you moved the shrooms closer to it not the close ones away from it.....

One thing I forgot to ask is that are the tentacles still sticky? Mine definitely lost its stickiness as it shrank in size as well and I couldn't get it to eat.....

    Thanks OFK,
Yes, based on Cheryl's and others suggestions, I removed all the shrooms that were close to it, and fed them to my RBTA!
On of them floated off, and went onto one of my protopalythoa colonies, and IT ate it too!!

It still hangs on to the pellet and eats, so yes, I think still sticky.
