    the snapping makes me think mantis, I don't think they attack clams though (could be wrong), but then again, if its by the YWG hole, I don't think its a mantis, it would kill the goby. Good luck finding the culprit.

    What kind of lighting do you have?

    I'm guessing the trigger made the kill, and the pistol did the finer work after the trigger was full.

    Sorry u lost a clam, that really sucks.

    250w's 14K MH's, & T5's blue. I've had that clam for over a year and just the night before he was doing great. I suspect that I'm not feeding my Niger enough as I just realized how huge he is getting. I better start introducing some steaks into his diet. Actually I better start feeding him larger chunks of seafood meats before he eats something else.
