it is a 90gal display the angel picks at the mushrooms a bit but thats it. I dont really mind though, keeps them from growing out of control.

The system is a fully automated reef using an apex system to control dosing, automatic water changes, sun and moon cycles, feeding, rodi top up, water movment and waves, skimmer and more.
All the electronics, dosing containers and water change resivoir are located on the other side of the wall neatly put away in cabinets in the kitchen.

I assume the apex controls your auto WCs? What other equipment do you use for those? I am wanting to implement this but I can't really find a write up of what all is needed.

The auto W/C is the next thing I want to tackle. I think with the apex all we'd need would be a breakout box, a couple of floats, a couple of pumps and I would need another EC8. Program the apex to turn off all your pumps for your system. Turn on one pump with a hose in your DT to drain out for either a set amount of time or when it reaches a float. Turn that pump off and then turn on the pump in your new saltwater holder to run until it hits a certain time limit or when it reaches another float. Then turn back on all your other pumps after a lapse of time. My quick thoughts anyways. Doesn't reefbuilder have auto W/C?

Beautiful tank! You have to give us a bit more insight and not tease so much lol. What's the secret filtration method you are using?
