It's not a new fixture. It is an aqua medic ocean light. Halide and T5. I just moved it

    Me too Vinny.

So last night I did something I've wanted to do for a while. I had this horizontal reptile light fixture I wanted to use for my fuge with a CFL bulb. Motivated by my previous fuge light going off-line from rust, I ran to hardware store. I went for it and actually suspended this light with chain and hooks. It was hell to put in - or should I say awkward :) - but a silver marker and drilling pilot holes in the top of the inside of my cabinet was key. With the hooks, it is easy to adjust the light with the chain. I just made sure it was high enough that it would not get wet when the sump pump is off. I am happy to finally have this going.

nice! you worried about all the mercury if it breaks? I like the new 6500k led bulbs you can get at the hardware store.

No I am not worried about that Alex. But I am aware of it. These bulbs really can spike growth. I'll check those out though
