The lateral distance is long - that makes up most of the distance. I am only going from the basement to 1st floor - re measuring looks to be about 20' lateral and then maybe 10' up total.

    Revised my build

Well yesterday was a great day. Not only did I get a GREAT deal on some beautiful rock - I am changing directions.

I was able to pick up a REALLY nice used pump - 3400 GPH and has enough power to hit the head on the DT upstairs.

I also took the custom sump he had built with the plumping from the sump to the pump and a 70 gallon he was running off it as well and a killer 30 gallon refugium!!!!

So now this is my plan

In the living room - 100 gallon Reef - SPS & Fish
in my office - (other side of sump so only 2' maybe from sump) the 70 gallon and will set that up fish only because I REALLY want a lion fish at some point.

plus he threw in a TON of stuff - all together picked up
2 new pumps ( one huge 3400 gmh and one pan world 100px)
    a few heaters
55 gallon brute with bulk heads and kill switches built in
    2 cases salt
    large box of carbon
    150 pounds live rock
    over flow box
    70 gallon tank
    55 gallon sump
    30 gallon refugium

all for a incredible deal. Less than what the LR would of cost at the LPS.

    Electric is done!

Today was a very productive day! Got my electric run.

Ran the entre system off a 20amp -

Put in a GFCI and receptacle - to the Waste water barrel (basement is below my drain line - need to pump water up - yuck.

Put in a GFCI then 3 panels with switches to run - lights - sump - skimmer - ETC, on the wall where the sump will go.

Put in a GFCI and receptacle on the other side of the wall where my water supply is so I can have a heater/ powerhead in my water.

overall great day and only one cut!

Tomorrow I am cutting in the water line so I can make my RO water and starting the plumbing downstairs.

I am allowed to have two rooms in the house. The basement and the garage!!!

Trust me - if she went down there today and saw the ceiling ripped open for the plumbing I am running - she would not be to happy - I try to just show her the "finished" results :)
