My Orange Guttatus Birdsnest Coral 28 days later.

My tank and maintenance has been the same way. I test once a month and do my top-offs. Outside of that, I do very little in the way of maintenance. I do a water chnage here and there.

 

No! I don't use Kalk, but I use Kent Liquid Calcium, is that basically the same thing? lol. I forget a lot to does my tank, which I guess is good so I don't over dose on anything.

 

Will this Coral is history! It didn't survive the move. To bad!

Moving tanks is always a learning experience. Keeping corals from killing each other in smaller containers can be problematic. Controlling the environment is also difficult.

 

I sure have learned a few things in my year as a reefer. I don't think I will replace the birdnest, but I have my eyes on some other Corals, I think I am ready
