    It's a bird...if you ever seen an ORA BOP it has 1/4 inch thick branches with dull rounded tips just like the one shown...nice bird !!

    Thanks papareef, he really has been growing so fast, call it first time luck, but my SPS Corals have been doing awesome and growing so fast. I should just stick with the SPS :D

    This thing has gotten so big you can't even see the rock I mounted it to, but now I have a problem, it has gotten so big to oneside that now I can't keep it up, it keeps tipping over, to much top weight.

    I knew there was something funny going on there, growth is waaaay too good to be natural!!

    Seriously though nice coral, what kind of birdsnest is it do you know?

    And I agree, its definitely a bird. I've got an ORA neon green and an ORA birds of paradis and they look the same way. The polyps extend out so far they look kind of rounded.

    They look a lot like my pocillipora to be honest.

    And good job on the photos ... they are tough to photograph when they have such crazy hairy polyp extension.

    I wish I could say the growth of mine has been anywhere comparable to what you're seeing!

    Its funny I find I actually have the same thing going on in my tank. SPS and LPS do very well. But the beginner corals like zoa's and leathers struggle miserably in my tank
