    2 or 3 Powerheads. Again, what you plan to keep will determine how big they should be.

    Well for reference, in my 55 mixed reef, I have 2 Koralia 1050s and 2 750s. They are on wave makers so either 0, 2 or 4 are on at any time. Plus I have around 500 gpm from my return pump.

    That may be excessive at that point :eek: That is a lot of flow! What are you looking at for powerheads?

    For sps you would want around 2750 that's 50X you don't want that all in one pump either you would not get the random flow u need to keep from getting dead spots in your tank
