Looks very nice, ill agree with you on the shimmer though. I was all pumped about getting some for a tank build I have going right now and went to a LFS that had them and saw the shimmer first hand, wayyy to crazy for me. hopefully you can get it dialed down to what you like.

The lights look amazing but need to find a way to reduce surface agitation. Right now my plan is to keep the Fluvals on as well which kills the shimmer. Once I change my flow will know. I'll post results.
Will say the color clarity is sooooo much better than Fluvals. Will keep power at 30% for a couple weeks.
    Thanks!

Updated picture. Loving the lights. Was able to reduce the shimmer but it's still there. I'm starting to like it.

Back glass is off. Leaving front panel on so I can keep the Fluval light bar.

Congrats on the lights. I just purchased 10 Kessil 360 NE, 8 for my main display, 2 for my frag tank. I love them. The shimmer reminds me of the bottom of the ocean. It's not for everyone but I do love the shimmer.

Very nice, going to say though the lack of UV in your old lights defiantly wasn't causing birds nest to go white... Plenty of tanks out there using Chinese box LEDs...

I went from t5s to kessils and at first I absolutely hated the shimmer. It wasn't long before I stopped even noticing it. I have since added back a couple of t5s and when I just have the t5s running th tank just doesn't look right. I love th shimmer now.

Great lights, I think you are going to love them!
