    My buddy has had his two maximas for 3 years now. He got them at around 2". They're on the sand bed of a 55g tank w/ a 5" sand bed under 4x 96w PC's. He really doesn't add much in the way of calcium/alkalinity, he just does water changes. One clam is now 6", and the other is 8ish. Just an example of what they can do under not so great conditions.

    what clam do you think is prettier the green or blue. i think the green is but the blue is pretty awsome too.

    i dont wanna spend $50 right now for both. i'm just starting my business on ebay and i've made $100 but i have to use some to invest more in my business. it's like $30 for 1 clam. so which would you buy.

    They are both beautiful! Tough decision. :-/ If I was choosing one for my tank it would be the blue since I have so much greenery in mine.

    I wonder which one would show up the prettiest under the actinic lighting?

    You can't go wrong with either one. Let us know which one you choose. :)

    it's a very tough decision. Would the blue since it's a little bit brighter. I don't know. i will let you know.
