ok so my mangroves are rooting out and i was just wondering how long till i see a possitive effect on my water params? we have 2-3 that are rooting and 2 that arent very big.
should i relocate them to the fuge (HOB filter with chaeto) or should i leave them in the DT on the heater?
should i put some sand in my HOB filter to make it more suitable for the mangroves? (if i decide to plave them there)
i just want to do whats best for the tank.
    thanks

The mangrooves do realy good when they or floating in the water to tell you yhe truth it is up to you. and there are many factors invoved when it comes to seeing results. how big is your tank how many mangrooves what size what kind of lighting over the mangrooves and what kind of results are you looking for.

well on placement they can stay where they are or you can move them thats more of a lighting issue ,if they are growing all ready i wouldnt move them because they just got use to the area they are in also mangroves grow pretty slow and suck up nutrients pretty slow
thats why ppl get a lot of them , they tend to works better as filters as they mature so depending on how much nutrients are added to the water u might not notice if they are working or not it just depends on the system .as of now my mangroves are out competing my chaeto by far but i do have 22 mangroves which still ISN'T enough
