came home from work today and the pump was off. still plugged in, tried a different socket that i know works and it is dead. This sucks and im sure i can get another one from the LFS that i got it from, but my question is.... will any of my corals suffer from a change like this??? the water flow is pretty low right now and its been good for like a week??? Will they be alright??? does algae grow better in tanks with less flow cuz i am trying to get my phosphates down and solve this grean hair algae problem. how ironic that the pump blows out on me a couple days after getting it right where i wanted it for the sake of my corals.

Your corals should be fine. Most corals benifits from chaotic changing flow. Some types of algae do grow better with less flow such as cyano. Green hair algae I believe grows in just about any flow though.
