Thanks:) idk, I don't think I'm up for that. I'll try dosing for a week and then if it doesn't do the job I'll empty. I know it's not bad, but I wanna get this Dino before it gets bad.

Does my dosing of 1ml per 10g sound good?

Usually its not required, maybe once every few months. We covered treatments in a separate thread...just like gfo/beads need replenishment and refugiums need pruning-repeats of any control method are required to keep up with new nutrient input

Its much easier in some tanks than constantly stripping the water of nutrients but it depends on the tank and design...

peroxide usage occasionally is aimed at saving work and avoiding the imperfections that constant nutrient stripping may cause...bleached corals, more cyano etc if that's been a problem for someone

its one of several options for a clean tank

Yeah I'll just use as needed. Once the algae is gone I'll dose for a few more days after just to make sure. Then I'll use it again if it comes back.

Your tank is young and I may be off base here but I don't think this is necessary. Your tank looks great and I think this may be just the natural growing pains for a reef tank. Maybe someone with more experience can chime in.
