This is it.
I changed out the initial compartment bin with a smaller one, and modded the outflow that goes into my Chaeto compartment.
This doubled my already huge Chaeto section
Awesome work, and thanks for all of your help so far!
No problem, glad to help out
You da man Todd. Thanks for the link. I'll be doing this today hopefully!

Woohoo I did it !!!!!! Now my water level is just flowing over where my corner drilled compartment is on my tank. There's about an inch to go to fill my tank. Do I tweak this by adding the water to my sump or the tank? Sorry if this sounds stupid but it's been a very long day and no leaks as of yet and if my tank overflows at this point I may snap!
Something I see missing in these sumps is the ole power failure test! : Have you checked what the levels do when you turn ALL the power off? Depth of siphon hoses can be critical!
Hey Todd, I just checked this out! That is one awesome little setup you have! I love how it is down below in the basement. Are you going to do something similar with your 180? or have it under the tank?
My sump needs more water. Will this effect the level in my DT? Water levels when power is off is barely above my return pump.
