    Well Done Vinny, It's great to see a small project make such a big impact. I'm certain now, after seeing how much ATS's do for a system, yours and others, that I'm building one for my 6 footer. You took out your skimmer right?

    No I am still running the skimmer.No GFO or carbon though.;)

    Sorry missed the posts somehow. Yes it is working very well!!!;D8)

    This is what the brand new screen looked like at 14 days.After the initial growth of algae IME so far it should repopulate very quickly now.

    I am cleaning the screen today (not totally) and I will post weekly pictures of the growth.

    Any signs of cyano in the DT with this?

    This looks very promising and would love to get away from turkey baster sucking cyano from the DT. :)

    I have very little Cyano growing in the tank.My sand and rocks are much improved.I am seeing results and have totally stopped using GFO/Carbon.;)

    There are maybe four large Bubble algaes in my DT but tons in my sump.A win-win so far.;D

    I would also like to point out that I clean the screen with tankwater.
