My closeloop system, need help!!!

Sweeeet! Glad to see you back. You might want to look at using Flex PVC, it makes connections real easy. Will fit into any SCH40 fitting and you won't loose any gph flow due to going through 90's and 45's. Just a thought!

sch40 fittings?? Wht is that? Im going to lowes today to check out the flex pvc. How do you connect it? is it with pvc cement or something else?

So ima place four 1" pvc pipes in the tank. Two going under the sand to the front of the tank so it blows water upwards towards the overflows, and the other opening behind the rocks, mid tank height blowing towards the front glass. this is all work i can do before connecting the ss and the 2 little giants.

SCH40 is the type of PVC, it is the white stuff. There is SCH80 that is usually gray but it has a thicker side wall for higher pressure. If you can't find the Flex PVC at Lowes you can get it here FlexPVC or any pool supply place because they use it on HotTubs a lot.
Use just use standard PVC cement and you are set. Stuff sure is easier to work with then standard hard PVC.

You are supposed to use the rain or shine blue glue on the flex PVC..

If you guys ever need PVC flex ? I have several hundred feet of it in 1/2 thru 2in rolls setting at the shop will ship it out no problem.. Thats all we use for installations
