Of course, as long as your corals are acclimated.

So lights are here, don't want t hand them.
I have a marine land 93 cube and wanted to use legs on them, I hate drilling holes etc, I tried t put them on the glass lid but it takes so much light out going through the glass.

Any idea where I could buy the legs/feet for these ? 30x30x24

    Thanks reef dudes !

New MOD for my Chinese 120W LED's!

I have the set of 55 lights, 6 rows of whites, and only 5 rows of blues- that's the way they come/came. I have the non dimmables also.

I'd always heard of a 2:1 ratio blues to whites for a popping DT.

2 weeks ago, I took the lights down; and taped a posterboard strip, on the outside over the plastic protector.

There are 6 rows of whites- I covered the direct light with a 1.5cm strip of think paper.

Now only 2 of the 6 rows of whites shine stright down- they still have some side scatter.

All 5 rows of blues still on.

It's still real bright, but my colors do come out more than before,
and my corals haven't seen any effects in over 2 weeks!

It works, and it was a FREE mod!

Try it for a more blue color- it's still real white!

So you're saying the original ratio was too much white? and too bright?

Yes, the original set up a little too white anyways.

I now have two of the white rows of white covered from direct light with the think paper, I took two off, not much difference actually at all. Still a little nicer colors with the 2 of the whites covered.

Ever wonder why at rthose frag swaps, and LFS's, that they usually have the blue or actinics only on the corals when they're on display? Cause it brings out shades and colors not seen in the more white light.

That's funny, I've been thinking about doing the same thing, but with electrical tape. The fixtures are just too bright, and too white with all of the lights on. I've tried many different heights and times. The whites had to be reduced because they were too intense. Right now, I'm at:

    9" above the water
    9 hours blues
    4 hours whites

I too thought of elec. tape. It would work as good, probalby even better!
    MIne are:
    8" above water
    still run the blues 10
and the whites 8, leaving the blues only 1 hour before and after whites, like the common way.

I was acutually deleting photos from my Iphone today, looked at one with
my old PC's. I think because there was alot less purple corrallline, and way less coral overall in the tank, ehich gave it way more uncovered CC substrate to reflect- the PC's actually looked brighter. Sure is nice not haveing to worry about buying new bulbs in about 10 months!
