    Chalices are one of my favorite types of coral too. I had a huge one back in the day when I used to keep tanks and before the prices for them skyrocketed. I can only imagine how much a piece like that would be worth now.

    They are worth a lot now esp with all the new ones coming out. Do you still have a tank?

    Not any time soon. All of our spare time is pretty much taken up by our 5 year old son. After a combined 30+ years of us keeping reef tanks, my husband and I are both enjoying the peace of mind that comes with not having a tank to worry about/take care of. When our son is a little older, we may set up again but if we do, it will likely be a small tank and nothing huge like the systems that we used to have.
