I love my hermits! They started cleaning up as soon as I got them. They literally needed just 4 hours to clean my tank. Here's a pic:

By the way, can anyone tell what kind of hermits these are? I got them from a local fish market and their knowledge is minimal. I wouldn´t want to have any problems later with my hermits, specially after all they've done for me! Heres another pic:

they look to me like blue legged hermits, i belive they are reef safe so u shouldnt have a prob with them no matter what. 50 seems like alot i got 3 in my 45 gal and they keep the whole thing damn clean. just my opinion. the only thing they might hurt are snails if you have any.

Thanks for the info!! Today, I came back from work and found all of my LR completely clean. Now I'm starting to worry that my 10 hermits and 10 snails might starve to death, is this possible? There is still little diatoms on the sand... What should I do???

Doh! should have thought about that.. thanks for your reply omard. what is the best option to feed them? Hermits feed on uneaten food, but turbo snails???? Thanks again!
