    hey guys.. im i am worried.. my anemone just split!! i looked at it yesterday and it looked fine.. ( 1 piece)..

    this afternoon.. its 2???? its that bad?? i heard sometimes its a good sign? yes? or am i way off?

    ill post a picture in a second.

    If it split on it's own then that is a good thing :)

    What type of nems are they and what do their mouths look? open? gaping? closed?

    Nems that reproduce asexually by splitting usually start with the mouth, then divide vertically. BTW, that appears to be a Condylactis.

    its actually a green bubbletip anemone :p

    so wait.. am i to wait for this anemone to split yet again?

    You are correct. I have two myself that split a year ago, now I have two monsters.. Congrats.. They will split for two reasons, on their own or it got stressed for whatever reason. My clowns bounce from one to another during the week..
