Just looked this up, I thought there was an oxygen concern with Melafix.

It was in a dt of 1 year that they were in. My qt has been up the same time. Yellow tang's eye was clear by the time they went in, i did put them in knowing that they could be exposed to what the yellow tang had. He has been treated for the same thing in the past in a diff tank. I knew the trigger did not need help he had just been hiding so long i was worried. With not eating and the past i figured he might have been unable to move and needed to check. Breathing seems good.

Do you think that the trigger is just scared and hiding? How big is he?

Thank you So much. I did not see your post stating what you had looked up. I use melafix for most of my fish treatment so i really appriciate that.

Dont mind the smug marks in the first pic, I have kids.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
The color of the fish looks ok. I would reduce as much stress as possible by turning off the tank lights and allowing the fish to rest and hopefully recover. At this point there really is nothing else you can do. It looks as though these pics are the DT, if the fish is still in the QT you may have to watch the parameters closely as even small feeding will produce an increase in ammonia.

He is a beautiful fish and I hope he pulls through.
