Well my tank had gone to hell. My damsel killed my tailspot blenny and my mandarin is probly dying because it got attacked by the damsel. I've removed the damsel and it's dwelling in a 5 gallon bucket I'm down from 7 fish to likely 4(5 if he mandarin survived)

Basically I shall never own another damsel

I'm really gonna miss the tailspot though

I'm sorry to hear about this. I hope the mandarin makes it.

Damsels really ahould only be with other aggressive fish.

I've had my damsel for quite a while and I didn't want to tear my tank apart to get him out. But after last night I had no choice any more. But when it snapped and killed my blenny, attacked my mandarin(which died last night unfortunately), attacked my male clownfish and my puffer it had to be removed.

Oh I am so sorry. Damsels are so unpredictable. I had one yrs ago in my 20g, killed my lawnmower blenny, then a scooter blenny and was constantly aftrr my clown...

I think you did the right thing by removibg the damsel

It was the choice of keep the damsel in the tank and risk $70 in fish. Or remove him. As is I'm already out $30 in fish

New corals and fish The montipora(if I'm correct and I think I am) was a freebie

Have to say I'm impressed with vivid aquariums and I can't complain since they were all technically free

My dottyback is hiding so no pics of that yet[IMG]
