    well just an update the two clowns died form ich about two weeks ago so i did'nt put any fishes in because i'm trying to get rid of the ich

    recived new lighting yesterday 1/23/09 there 18" current nova extreme T5s

    Hi, I know your handle is Damsels R Cool, however young squire, what you should know is that putting damsels together will create problems especially in that small of a tank. Try adding more rock and look at Green Chromis damsels and more peaceful fish like a Royal Gramma. I complement you on you effort so far though. You will have to resign to the fact that damsels fight and cause stress and will get ick.

    yea i figured that out read the first page i'm sticking with a pair of clowns in that tank now

    Lots of learning going on... glad you seem to be doing your research first now lol! Hopefully your tank will settle out soon. Man I wish I could make a short drive and catch my own inverts... I have probably spent $300+ on snails alone!!

    i went last week and got about 200+ for my cousin and for my new 45 coming soon

    but in jupiter in the winter all the rocks are covered in snails i dont even make an inpact on the population all i have to do to get them is drag a net over a rock in ankle deep water

    but 300 in snails alone wow

    It sounds like you should take it a little slower and let your tank settle for a little bit. It seems like initially you weren't fully prepared to take on a salt water tank. Do your research and you should be fine. It does sound like you are getting a better handle on things. I hope your tank does well. Good luck with it.

    thank you i know i still have a lot to learn you guys (3reef) and my two uncles have been very helpful just one uncle is really stuborn he had a 29 running for 5 years with a lion fish (about 3 through out the year) and his tank is awayls dirty only had 220gph for flow water was clear but sand was covered in stuff o and no CUC.
