    there is a white spot on my mushroom. Any ideas?

    Could you post an image please.
    How long have you had the mushroom?
    How long has your tank been set up?

    The presence of Mesenterial Filaments protruding from the gastric opening is a sign of stress, those would look like fine strings.

    Corallimorpharia can also develop white spot secondary to lighting changes.
