    Start with the saddle valve. I hate those and have had the same problem myself years ago with a RO drinking water system hooked up that way under the sink. I would recommend either a feed water adapter($10+/- at Spectrapure or any hardware store) or if you can get to your washing machine cold water supply, a brass garden hose wye with individual ball valves (about $6-$8 an any hardware store).

    The saddle valve was the problem. We are back up and running. Appreciate the advice.
