A lot of times they will make you price match plus shipping. Go with the stuff from reefrocks, shipping is free if you buy 30 lbs of rock

That sounds like it would have a very interesting look to it.

Yeah I think I'm going to go with them. They seem to be the most inexpensive.

I like the special grade reef floor sand. Not to dusty rinses quickly. And my local store sells me 40lb bags for $30 lol.

I think that I am a fan of the same thing. CaribSea SeaFlor I think is the actual name.

The grain is a nice size. I am not a fan at all of fine grained sand. You will find that if you need to turn up the flow you will get a sand storm!

The one thing that people also forget about, what type of livestock do you have in the tank?

Any gobies that will sift sand, if you do then i would stay away from really fine grain sand like it is the plauge. You will forever have sand storms.

Same for some wrasses that like to burrow.....

Remember it is not all about looks... You want functional also

That actually sounds pretty awesome but I'll be sure to stay away from it.

Fiji pink is great. I was going to do a black mix but it seems like it sucks a bit of light away from the tank.

I am a fan of the TROPIC Eden mix myself as stated earlier really nice product........it is gonna cost about $ 400.00 for my 300 build. Reefrocks has both really nice rock and sand making his option hard to beat. So i am getting my rock & sand from Steve and doing my foam wall with Tropic Eden mix:)
