    canopy makes things nicer, but you dont "need" moonlights.. although I highly recommend them!

    Hmmm..maybe I can buy an already made canopy...or I could build one I guess...

    If you enclose that light, make sure you install fans. They do generate heat, even though they're T5's.

    Not just that, but it will heat your water, as well.

    Yesterday I bought a digital thermometer that sounds an alarm if the water gets too cold or too hot. I thought that seemed pretty nifty!

    Your tank will look fine with your lights you bought.. also, I would worry that not only the heat would get crazy, but that a canopy would hold your huge lights.. just keep them on top of your tank as I do with my 30... I seriously cant wait to get my 75 back home in a few days!

    Yeah. Canopies look nice because they hide the lights, but they also make the tank look a lot bigger and chunkier than it actually is; which bugs me. Does that make sense? Lol

    I'll try the lights just on top first. I bought feet for them.
