    Wow!!! I like the caps because of there shape so color should be an issue if it brown.

    Im guessing you meant you like the shape more then color? Yeah they have really cool shapes, check out the cap in the backround of my avatar its got crazy growth pattern

    If you want it to look like that, you're supposed to take a frag from the outer rim of the coral and place it in the middle of the coral, in a couple of months it will start to plate like that.

    Yeah encrusting montis really need a good stable alk and param level more than anything for color.
