    It does get easier, you just have to take some serious preventive measures to prevent things from happening. When you slip up, thats when it hits the fan. On my end, I got lazy, and trusted the sources.

    update

    Two / three weeks later, the area of montipora that had completely bleached out has color coming back!! (YEAH!!!)
    It looks like it might recover!!
    There is a small amount of algae on it,but it seems to be turning around.
    Thanks for the advice, everyone.
