I only started dialing it in last night - does anyone reading this have any experience with these particular skimmers or that can offer advice of specifically where the top of the foam head should be in relation to the top of the bubble column? Both MoJoe and I would benefit from this information along with others that are adjusting their skimmers or will be in the near future! I have mine right now so that it just occasionally kisses the top of the column. I understand it will take some time to break in.

Here, this info will help us both :):

    5. Put the skimmer in sump and plug it in. Water level in sump should be 6”-10” as long as it is not covering the water outlet pipe. Turn the gate valve to adjust the water level inside the skimmer. The water level inside the skimmer should be an inch above where the neck transition starts for the initial setup.

Oh wow!! You know I was reading the directions that came in the box with the unit and chuckling to myself at the poorly translated instructions which were not very complete - that link just 100% cleared things up~!!!!!!

    Thanks a bunch!!!
