Mixing Sand with Live Sand

    I have chosen the Natures Ocean Marine Sand. It's $7 for 10lbs at Petco currently. I went to my local home depot and lowes and all they had was some clay colored play sand.

    maybe its just me, i tried to do that in my old 30 gallon tank but the powerheads just blew the fine sand around and i had a few gobies that loved to move the sand around with their tails.

    Well I picked up all of the sand petco had (70lbs). It didnt even make a dent lol. It's gonna easily tank another 100-130lbs of sand to do the trick on this 210.

    There is one other local place here in town that sells it, im going to go there and see what they have. 70lbs barely covered the whole bottom of the tank lol.
