Do mini maxi carpet nems eat like a normal nem? I have read on them and from what I read it's split....? Some say they are filter feeders, and other say they eat meaty foods? I just added one almost a week ago and it looks great but just dosent eat? Not even sticky, but the foot looked good, mouth is great, it's colored up and it's has been it it's spot for the week....

I'm sure you could feed it periodically and they will catch food that falls from feeding fish. It does concern me about it not being sticky because one thing I've noticed with them is that they are very sticky to the touch. But, if it looks good otherwise, perhaps yours is a unique specimen :)

Every aquarium is different Cody, so you may get different results than what you see/read about from like animals in other tanks. That said, any nem in a reef tank may not require target-feeding at all; it's nutritional requirements could easily be met or exceeded through good lighting, the meaty fish food they catch, and/or DOCs (yes, nems do absorb them). As long as yours continues to appear healthy and doesn't begin to shrink, I wouldn't worry.
